Update - 07.03.2012

So, it’s been pretty much non-stop for us for the last few weeks and things are only just starting to slow down! We’ve had a ton of shows with some amazing bands and we’ve been writing some of our best material yet (more on that further down). First thing’s first though! As a lot you have noticed our Krispy Kreme shirts have finally arrived and we’re so so stoked on how awesome they look. Here is one in all of its brand new glory:

[Pictured - Size SMALL]

You can order one HERE in S, M, L or XL. If you’ve pre-ordered one, you no longer need to wait, because your new TCL t-shirt will be with you either Saturday morning or early next week! So now these are finally sorted the next batch of tees will be dropping around May and will be one full front print design (which is being designed as I type), so we’ll be posting images and more details on that very very shortly, keep your eyes out for that!

A few people have been asking what they hell is happening about the tour. This has gone completely tits up (we’re not pointing fingers) so it is now only three dates long:

  • Tuesday 13th – River Rooms, Stourbridge
  • Wednesday 14th – Live Lounge, Blackburn
  • Thursday 15th – Garage Bar, Doncaster

We have our friend Arthur from SCRIMSHAW helping us out with a van, and everyone should immediately go check them out! We’re too stoked to return to Blackburn, you guys were insane last time we were there. As much as we’re gutted about the cancellations we’re not going to bitch and moan, and instead we’re making the most of our time off work and we’re going to spend the remaining dates finishing off recording the EP, which is looking like it will be three songs long (or short) and recorded entirely by the band in our very own little practice room. This will be done and finished well before April and will be given out for free at shows and a copy will be with every piece of outgoing merchandise. So, to be honest, it’ll be quite hard to miss once it’s released!

We’re also in talks about getting involved with the KONY2012 movement in Hull (if you somehow still don’t know what this is, Google/YouTube it immediately). For this special event we will be releasing a small batch of KONY-inspired t-shirts and will be donating 100% of profits to the Invisible Children cause. When they are released, please do your part and buy one, not only because they’ll be awesome but because you’ll get a rad as fuck t-shirt and you’ll be helping a global cause at the same time. You simply can’t lose.

I think that’s it for now. I’ve probably missed something important, if I have, it’ll come soon on another update!

For now,

TCL x
